Based on the China Maritime Day Forum, these activities have expanded to provide industry exhibition services covering ships, ports, smart shipping, shipping finance, and other areas of water transportation. China International Ship Technology and Safety Forum
The China International Ship Technology and Safety Forum is a specialized forum of the China Maritime Day Forum, held annually around China Maritime Day. Organized by the China Maritime Day Forum Organizing Committee, it invites guests from the International Maritime Organization, international non-governmental organizations, maritime regulatory agencies, flag states, classification societies, and renowned domestic and international shipping companies, ship management companies, maritime academies, equipment manufacturers, and service providers to attend and deliver speeches or engage in dialogues on specific topics.
The Zheng He Maritime Excellence Awards
The Zheng He Maritime Excellence Awards is an unofficial maritime cultural and spiritual activity organized by the Maritime Service Network (CNSS). The event adheres to the principles of "objectivity and fairness, public welfare, encouraging innovation, advocating development, highlighting value, and promoting righteousness." It aims to encourage the maritime community to pioneer and innovate in the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative and in building China into a strong transportation and maritime nation, thus contributing to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. After an initial online selection, expert re-evaluation, and final expert selection, the award list is finalized and announced at the unveiling ceremony.
Shipping Finance Leasing Seminar
Continuous service, turning crisis into opportunity, and achieving win-win cooperation have become the focus of the shipping industry. This seminar aims to build a platform for communication and exchange among the shipping, finance, and shipbuilding industries and their upstream and downstream sectors. The goal is to jointly explore the industry's pain points and propose solutions based on these discussions, aiming for sustainable long-term development and win-win cooperation in the post-pandemic era.
Hainan Yacht Industry High-Quality Development Forum
To thoroughly implement the spirit of the series of important speeches made by the General Secretary during his inspection of Hainan and the "Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port," and to ensure the smooth implementation of the "Hainan Free Trade Port Yacht Industry Promotion Regulations," the first Hainan Yacht Industry High-Quality Development Forum was hosted by Huayang in 2022. The forum aimed to build a communication platform between the government, academic institutions, industry associations, and enterprises, focusing on the "high-quality development, innovation leadership, openness and inclusiveness, ecological efficiency, and safety assurance" of Hainan's yacht industry. This initiative is intended to drive the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port into an irreversible development trajectory.
