From April 23 to April 24, China Shipping Industry and Marine Education Integration Consortium was launched and high-quality crew construction conference was held at Huayang Luoyang Base.
The purpose of this conference was to jointly form the "National Modern Shipping Industry-Education Integration Consortium" (hereinafter referred to as "the Consortium"), led by Huayang Maritime Center Co. Ltd, Jiangsu Maritime Institute, and Dalian Maritime University, in conjunction with various educational institutions, industry organizations, research institutes, and upstream and downstream enterprises.
As the chairman of the National Modern Shipping Industry-Education Integration Consortium, Mr. Li Liqian, the General Manager of Huayang, delivered a key speech. He stated that as the leading member of the Consortium, Huayang will earnestly fulfill its responsibilities, closely cooperate with all member units in building a mechanism for the supply and demand of industry-education integration, jointly carry out talent cultivation, collaborate on technical research and development, organize the development of teaching resources, build a national cooperation and exchange platform, and inherit and spread maritime culture, to jointly create an influential model of the Consortium and draw a blueprint for a new chapter in shipping.
So far, 84 entities have joined this consortium, including 38 shipping companies, 13 undergraduate maritime colleges, 27 vocational maritime institute, and 6 other industry associations, research service organizations, publishing houses, and newspapers. The Consortium officially launches its online teaching resource platform.
Huayang will the Consortium as a new starting point, with a higher position and more practical measures, to promote the sustainable development of the modern shipping industry.
