Huayang Maritime Center Co., Ltd. and Wilhelmsen Ship Management Hold Collaborative Exchange

On February 13th, Mr. Hakon Lenz, CEO of Wilhelmsen Ship Management, Mr. Carl Schou, Senior Advisor, and Ms. Esther Gan, head of Sustainability and Business, along with other delegation members, visited Huayang Maritime Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "HMC"). Mr. Li Liqian, General Manager of Huayang, hosted a discussion and exchange with the guests.

During the discussion, Mr. Hakon Lenz stated that as one of the world's top ten third-party ship management companies, WSM has strong confidence in the prospects of the Chinese market and expressed a strong willingness to expand its business in China, especially in the high-end ship management sector. Mr. Li Liqian stated that Huayang always committed to open cooperation. He eagerly anticipated further deepening the cooperative partnerships with foreign partners to jointly contribute to the sustainable and prosperous development of the global shipping industry. 

Both parties conducted thorough and in-depth discussions on key areas such as ship management, crew training, shipping services, and maritime support services, reaching a high level of consensus. They declared that they will adhere to the principle of win-win cooperation, jointly enhance comprehensive competitiveness in the international shipping market. By deepening the collaboration mechanisms,  they will jointly cultivate more high-quality crew members, establishing a robust talent base for the safe and efficient operation of future ships.

During the visit, the delegation from WSM paid a visit to Huayang Training Center, gaining an in-depth understanding of its facilities and achievements in crew training. The guests highly commended Huayang's advanced facilities and notable achievements in this field.
