On April 14 to 15, 2025, Huayang Maritime Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HMC) held 2025 annual work conference at Luoyang Huayang Conference Center. Zhu Jianhua, Vice President of China Waterborne Transport Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the “WTI”), Li Liqian, General Manager of HMC, the leadership team of HMC, and the main responsible persons of various departments and investment institutions participated in the conference.
General Manager Li Liqian delivered the 2024 annual work report. He pointed out that in 2024, under the leadership of WTI, HMC successfully completed scheduled tasks and goals, and called on all cadres and employees of HMC to clearly understand the situation, adhere to their original aspirations, take on responsibilities and contributions, and create new achievements. He emphasized that in 2025, HMC will continue to focus on its main responsibilities and businesses, deepen reforms, adhere to the tone of “stability”, and achieve high-quality development driven by innovation.
Vice General Manager Zhang Ke gave a report on the financial management, a report on the audit and inspection results, and a speech on integrity and self-discipline; Representatives from various departments and institutions gave special presentations on standardized management and business development, and conducted specialized discussion on shipping business, ship management, crew labor services, and the application of new maritime technologies.
Vice President Zhu Jianhua delivered an important speech, fully affirming the achievements made by HMC in the past year. According to the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and relevant national regulations, he required everyone to remain confident, adopt the development policy of “seeking progress while maintaining stability, promoting stability through progress, adhering to the original and innovating and establishing before breaking”, and focus on technological empowerment, integrating with WTI for development, and building a HMC platform for collaborative innovation in research, production and education; Actively utilizing digital technology, strengthening the application of artificial intelligence and green and low-carbon technology, and transforming and upgrading towards technology-based maritime and shipping enterprises are essential. It is emperative to effectively prevent and resolve risks in key areas to ensure that the bottom line of safety and systemic risks prevention remain unbreakable.
