The 33rd Asian Ship Owners' Conference was held in Hong Kong from May 27th to 29th, 2024. As a member of the Hong Kong Ship-owners Association, Huayang (Hong Kong) representatives attended the Shipping Policy Committee meeting. The theme of the conference was "ASIA SHIPPING, GREENER TOGETHER." The five standing committees of the conference conducted extensive exchanges and in-depth discussions on topics such as the development and health of seafarers, ship insurance and liability, navigation safety and environmental protection, shipping policy, and ship recycling. Each committee reported back to the conference, and in the end, the conference appointed the chairman for the 2024-2025 term and announced the successful conclusion of the conference.
On March 15th, the 70,000-ton wood chip carrier "SDM HUBEI," built by China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd. for Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. , was officially delivered in Yangzhou. Leaders from related companies such as Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. , China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd., and China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Yangzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. attended the delivery ceremony.
On November 16, at the invitation of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of China in Greece, Greece Office of Huayang Maritime Center 's General Manager Yan Hexiang and Deputy General Manager Qu Xiao attended an event at the Embassy.
