Huayang Conducted the Training for New Recruits of 2026

Huayang launched the opening ceremony of its 2026 new seafarer trainee program on March 2 at the lecture hall of  Transport Management Institute Ministry of Transport of the P.R.China, with trainees from Luoyang Base joining the event online.

Liu Pengfei, Party Secretary of Transport Management Institute Ministry of Transport of the P.R.China, encouraged new trainees to abide by national strategies for building a strong transport sector, consolidate professional expertise and grow into qualified shipping talents.

On behalf of the seamen’s union, Director Li congratulated all new seafarer. She pledged the union would fully safeguard seafarers’ rights, career development and daily wellbeing, and advised trainees to stay grounded, disciplined and safety-conscious throughout their careers.

Two student representatives from Ningbo University and Bohai University vowed to devote themselves to training and master professional skills to meet company and family expectations.

Following the ceremony, all trainees took a 14-day centralized training at Yanjiao and Luoyang, covering corporate culture, internal rules, career planning, safety education.

Captain Lv Shidong, Huayang Deputy General Manager, shared his seafaring experience in career coaching lessons. He called on trainees to uphold the seaman’s spirit of Patriotism, Enterprise, Dedication and Devotion, tie personal growth to the development of China’s maritime industry and strive for outstanding achievements.
